Hope Heals

We may be far away but prayers unite us in mission and hope. We have been receiving lots of messages from you, dear church family. These messages and your prayers keep us warm and excited about preaching the Three Angels message in this cold part of the world.

Every night young and old travel from far away to attend the meetings. Some of them travel for an hour and a half one way using public transportation. There is a long walk from the bus stop to the church building through ice and snow. Please, pray for them. Sermons are being video recorded and mailed to the remote groups and churches of this vast mission field. There are only one thousand members in the area, which exceeds the state of Alaska by 500,000 sq miles. To reach the northern border of this mission field the conference administration needs to drive over 2,000 miles.

This will be a busy Sabbath at our own Ooltewah church. It starts with a Prayer Seminar on Friday night at 7 o’clock. Ruthie Jacobsen, the North American Division Prayer Ministries director will present a Hope Heals message. I encourage you not to miss this meeting. I have no doubts that you’ll be richly blessed.

Ruthie Jacobsen will preach for the first service this Sabbath morning. The second service will be presented by the Covenant of Praise group.

Please, remember about the Full Church potluck. We always have many visitors. It would be very helpful if you bring an extra dish and share it with the visitors.

At 3 pm Don Jacobsen will start the Parenting Seminar. Don is a bright presenter. His material is always current and relevant. Invite your friends to this seminar.

With prayers for each and everyone of you,

Peter and Galena.
