MESSAGE. In The Passion for Souls book, Dr. Smith writes, “The Gospel of the grace of God is the good news that Jesus dies for the sinners. The Gospel of the Kingdom is the good news that Jesus is coming back to reign. Both messages must be proclaimed; and whether it is the Gospel of the Grace of God or the Gospel of the Kingdom, it makes no difference. In both cases, it is the Gospel, the good news. And it must be proclaimed before the end comes.”

During the first service this Sabbath we will celebrate Ethan McRae’s dedication. The dedication will be officiated by Ethan’s grandfather, a retired pastor, William Anderson McRae, Sr.

PRAYERS. Steve Bremner’s father, Norman Jenson, unexpectedly passed on Wednesday night. He visited our church just two weeks ago to attend his granddaughter’s baptism. Please remember Steve and his family in your daily prayers. Let God’s comfort and protection be given to them as they travelled to NC to be with the family and to attend the service.
The service will be held at the Mills River Seventh-day Adventist church located at
2142 Jeffrey Rd., Mills River, NC 28759. The service will be on Sunday, July 2nd at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to OAKS.
